- Mike Alt graduated in Reno, NV from Damonte Ranch high school, and graduated in May 2014 from the University of Nevada, Reno with a degree in Business Management. Mike stays involved in the community by coaching freshmen basketball at Damonte Ranch high school and speaks at various assemblies and events locally. One assembly was at Shaw middle school where he spoke for 7th and 8th graders; where students were able to take the pledge to rid the word "can't" from their vocabulary.
- Mike founded this organization in 2012 in order to help motivate and inspire others to accomplish their goals. Born with Amniotic Band Syndrome, his mission is to show people that no matter what challenges they may face in life, they can overcome them.
- Can't is not an Excuse is a brand and organization dedicated to helping people overcome any obstacles that they face in life. The word "can't" should not be used lightly because with hard work we can accomplish anything we put our minds to.
